In a stunning display of offensive firepower, the Seattle Seahawks triumphed over the New England Patriots with a decisive 53-22 victory in Week 1 of the 2026 season. This matchup marked a significant start for both teams, with the Seahawks looking to establish dominance early in the year. Jalen Milroe was the star of the night, throwing for five touchdown passes while leading the Seahawks' offense to a commanding performance. Meanwhile, Jadarian Price added a staggering 183 rushing yards, proving to be a relentless force on the ground. For the Patriots, Drake Maye kept pace with 262 passing yards and A.J. Brown's impressive 147 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Seattle's explosive attack. On the defensive side, the Seahawks made crucial plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Devon Witherspoon's interception halted a potential scoring drive from the Patriots, while Dante Fowler Jr. registered a key sack that disrupted New England's rhythm. The turning point came early in the second half when Seattle capitalized on a turnover, scoring quickly to extend their lead and put the game out of reach.
