The Denver Broncos topped the Kansas City Chiefs 34-8 in a decisive Week 17 clash that solidified their playoff positioning. With both teams vying for momentum heading into the postseason, the Broncos made a statement with a dominant performance on the road. Bo Nix led the way for Denver with an efficient aerial attack, throwing for two touchdowns, while RJ Harvey showcased his skills on the ground, racking up 97 rushing yards. Although Patrick Mahomes managed to accumulate 216 passing yards for Kansas City, he was unable to find the end zone, hampered by a relentless Broncos defense that consistently pressured him. Defensively, the Broncos were a force, with Nik Bonitto leading the charge with 2.5 sacks, disrupting Kansas City's offensive rhythm throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second half, when Riley Moss intercepted a Mahomes pass, setting up a touchdown that effectively sealed the game for Denver. With this victory, the Broncos demonstrated their readiness for the playoffs and sent a clear message to the AFC.
