In a thrilling Week 18 showdown, the Dallas Cowboys narrowly defeated the Washington Commanders 33-28, solidifying their playoff position as the regular season comes to a close. Both teams fought hard, but the Cowboys managed to hold off a late surge from Washington to clinch the victory. LaNorris Sellers was the standout performer for Dallas, throwing for an impressive 379 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his star receiver, CeeDee Lamb. Lamb was unstoppable, racking up 237 receiving yards and providing the spark the Cowboys needed in critical moments throughout the game. Meanwhile, Rachaad White led the Commanders on the ground with 45 rushing yards, but they struggled to establish a consistent running game. Defensively, Tyrique Stevenson led the Cowboys with six total tackles, helping to stifle the Commanders' offensive efforts when it mattered most. The turning point of the game came late in the fourth quarter when the Cowboys' defense forced a crucial turnover, allowing them to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win. Despite a strong defensive performance from Washington, including two interceptions by Nick Cross, it wasn’t enough to overcome the offensive firepower of Dallas.
