In a thrilling Wildcard Round matchup, the Minnesota Vikings narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears 37-31, securing their spot in the next round of the playoffs. Both teams fought fiercely, but it was the Vikings who ultimately capitalized on key moments to advance in the 2026 postseason. Kyler Murray was the standout performer for Minnesota, throwing for an impressive 347 yards and four touchdown passes. His connection with Jordan Addison proved to be particularly lethal, as Addison racked up 143 receiving yards, consistently finding separation and making big plays downfield. Meanwhile, Caleb Williams led the Bears on the ground with 64 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Vikings' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Vikings were led by Isaiah Rodgers Sr., who recorded 10 total tackles, showcasing his ability to stifle the Bears’ advances. The turning point in the game came late in the fourth quarter when a crucial interception by Malik Muhammad gave Chicago a chance to tie, but the Vikings' defense ultimately held strong, sealing the victory and a spot in the next round.
