In a thrilling Week 5 showdown, the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 59-50. Both teams entered the game with high expectations, but it was the Steelers who emerged victorious in this high-scoring affair, maintaining their momentum in the 2026 season. Anthony Richardson Sr. put on a dazzling display for the Colts, throwing for an impressive 565 yards and setting a franchise record with seven touchdown passes. However, Eli Heidenreich of the Steelers stole the show on the ground, racking up 183 rushing yards, which provided a crucial balance to Pittsburgh's offensive attack. Deion Burks also lit up the field for Indianapolis, amassing 218 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Steelers’ relentless scoring. Defensively, the Steelers made key plays that turned the tide in their favor, highlighted by Patrick Queen’s two interceptions, which thwarted crucial drives from the Colts. Jalen Ramsey led the Steelers in tackles with seven, showcasing his ability to disrupt Indianapolis’ rhythm. The turning point came when Pittsburgh's defense stepped up in the fourth quarter, forcing a turnover that allowed them to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
