In a decisive Week 9 matchup, the Denver Broncos topped the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 38-21, solidifying their playoff aspirations in the 2026 season. This victory was crucial for the Broncos as they continue to assert themselves in a competitive conference. Quarterback John Elway Jr. showcased his elite skills, throwing for 318 yards and four touchdowns, leading the charge for Denver's offense. Wide receiver Drake London was a standout target, racking up 126 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable option in critical moments. Meanwhile, the ground game was less dominant, with Jadarian Price managing only 24 rushing yards, but the aerial attack more than compensated. Defensively, the Broncos made key plays to stifle the Panthers' offensive efforts, highlighted by an interception from Harold Perkins Jr. that shifted momentum in Denver’s favor. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Perkins Jr.'s pick set up another touchdown, allowing the Broncos to extend their lead to 24-7, which ultimately proved insurmountable for Carolina. The Panthers' Caleb Ransaw led his team with three tackles, but it wasn't enough to contain the explosive Broncos offense.
