In a decisive Week 8 matchup, the Denver Broncos took down the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 34-16, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum, the Broncos showcased their dominance throughout the game. John Elway Jr. was the standout performer for Denver, throwing for an impressive 346 yards and five touchdown passes, effectively orchestrating the offense. His connection with Demarius Thomas was particularly potent, as Thomas racked up 99 receiving yards, providing reliable targets downfield. On the other side, Kyren Williams led the Chiefs' rushing attack with 57 yards, but struggled to find the end zone in a game dominated by Denver's offensive firepower. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, with David Bailey making a significant impact on the game. Bailey recorded four total tackles and three sacks, consistently pressuring the Chiefs' quarterback and disrupting their rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter, when Bailey's sack led to a fumble recovery, allowing Denver to extend their lead and control the game from that moment on.
