In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Philadelphia Eagles with a final score of 21-7, solidifying their position in the playoff race. This victory not only showcased Dallas's offensive firepower but also highlighted their ability to control the game against a division rival. Leading the charge for the Cowboys was quarterback Jalen Hurts, who threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating precision and poise under pressure. His performance was complemented by a balanced offensive scheme that kept the Eagles' defense guessing. On the other side, Philadelphia's Jonathan Taylor rushed for 64 yards, while Marquise Brown exploded in the passing game, racking up 137 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Cowboys were able to limit the Eagles’ scoring opportunities, forcing critical mistakes at pivotal moments. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Dallas's defense stifled a promising Philadelphia drive, culminating in an interception that shifted momentum. Despite standout performances from Fred Warner, Levi Onwuzurike, and Jamel Dean for the Eagles, it was the Cowboys' disciplined defense that ultimately secured the win.
