In a stunning display of power, the Denver Broncos defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 63-0 in their Week 1 matchup of the 2026 season. This blowout victory showcases Denver's dominance right out of the gate, setting a high bar for the rest of the league to follow. Quarterback John Elway Jr. was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 334 yards and a jaw-dropping seven touchdown passes. Wide receiver Drake London was his favorite target, racking up 158 receiving yards, while the rest of the offense executed flawlessly, driving the score to an overwhelming margin. Defensively, the Broncos were relentless, limiting the Chiefs to just 29 rushing yards and forcing them into a series of mistakes. David Bailey led the charge with three sacks, while Champ Bailey made his mark with two interceptions, effectively shutting down any hopes of a Kansas City comeback. The turning point came early when Denver's defense stifled a potential scoring drive, shifting momentum firmly to the Broncos' side and paving the way for a historic rout.
