The Detroit Lions secured a commanding 13-0 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 12 of the 2026 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. With both teams looking to gain momentum, the Lions' defense and timely offensive plays proved decisive in this crucial matchup. Zach Wilson led the Lions' offense with a modest 104 passing yards and a touchdown, while Jahmyr Gibbs showcased his speed and agility with 72 rushing yards. Isaac TeSlaa contributed as the primary target, finishing with 43 receiving yards, but it was the Lions' ability to sustain drives that kept the Bears on their heels throughout the contest. On the defensive side, Aidan Hutchinson was a standout performer, recording three sacks that consistently pressured the Bears' offense. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Hutchinson's relentless pursuit led to a critical stop, allowing the Lions to maintain their lead and control the game's tempo. Despite a valiant effort from Devin Bush, who tallied seven tackles for Chicago, the Bears struggled to find their rhythm, ultimately falling short in this shutout.
