The New York Giants narrowly defeated the Houston Texans 24-17 in a tightly contested Week 7 matchup of the 2026 season. With playoff aspirations on the line, the Giants secured a vital victory that keeps them in the hunt, while the Texans look to regroup after a disappointing home loss. Jaxson Dart led the charge for the Giants, throwing for 221 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to find key targets downfield. Cam Skattebo contributed significantly on the ground with 94 rushing yards, providing balance to the Giants' offense. Meanwhile, Malik Nabers was a standout receiver, racking up 90 receiving yards and helping to move the chains at critical moments. Defensively, the Giants were bolstered by Shelby Harris, who recorded an impressive 2.5 sacks, consistently putting pressure on the Texans' quarterback. The game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when Harris’s relentless pursuit led to a crucial sack that stalled a potential game-tying drive. Although the Texans' Derek Stingley Jr. made his presence felt with ten total tackles and an interception, it wasn't enough to swing the momentum back in their favor as the Giants held on for the win.
