In a tightly contested Week 6 matchup, the New England Patriots held off the New York Jets, securing a 24-17 victory. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard, but it was the Patriots who ultimately emerged victorious on their home turf. Drake Maye was the catalyst for New England's offense, throwing for 306 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively. Hunter Henry proved to be a reliable target, racking up 113 receiving yards, while Breece Hall led the Jets on the ground with 72 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Patriots' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Patriots made key plays that shaped the outcome of the game. Harold Landry III registered 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on the Jets' quarterback, while Carlton Davis III's two interceptions proved pivotal in stifling New York's momentum. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when Davis picked off a pass, halting a potential game-tying drive and allowing the Patriots to maintain their lead.
