In a thrilling Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the New Orleans Saints 27-22, securing their second victory of the year. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to solidify their positions early in the season, but it was the Raiders who emerged triumphant in this tightly contested affair. Leading the charge for the Raiders was quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who threw for 246 yards, showcasing his precision under pressure. He found reliable targets, including Tyler Harrell, who racked up 81 receiving yards, while Ashton Jeanty contributed significantly on the ground with 94 rushing yards. The Raiders' balanced offensive attack proved too formidable for the Saints' defense. Defensively, the Raiders were a force to be reckoned with, highlighted by Jeremy Chinn's standout performance that included seven total tackles and an interception. Keyron Crawford also made his mark with 1.5 sacks, disrupting the Saints' offensive rhythm. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Chinn's interception thwarted a promising New Orleans drive, allowing the Raiders to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the victory.
