In an explosive matchup to kick off the 2026 season, the Green Bay Packers topped the Minnesota Vikings with a commanding final score of 52-35. Both teams entered the game looking to establish momentum early, but it was the Packers who left the field with the victory, setting a strong tone for their campaign ahead. Leading the charge for Green Bay was quarterback Jordan Love, who delivered a spectacular performance with 460 passing yards and six touchdown passes. His connection with the receiving corps was electric, while the Vikings struggled to contain the aerial attack. Despite a solid rushing performance from Minnesota's Aaron Jones Sr., who notched 78 rushing yards, it was the Packers' offensive firepower that ultimately made the difference. Defensively, Micah Parsons stood out for Green Bay, recording three sacks that disrupted Minnesota's rhythm and helped shift momentum in critical moments. The Packers' defense managed to apply consistent pressure, forcing the Vikings to play catch-up throughout the game. Ultimately, Love’s precision and Parsons' dominance on defense proved to be the turning point, allowing Green Bay to secure a decisive Week 1 victory.
