In a dominating performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 30-0 in Week 3 of the 2026 season. This decisive victory not only showcased Tampa Bay's offensive prowess but also solidified their position as a formidable contender early in the season. Baker Mayfield led the charge for the Buccaneers, throwing for two touchdowns while amassing solid yardage throughout the game. Mike Alstott was a force on the ground, rushing for 107 yards, consistently moving the chains and keeping the Vikings' defense on its heels. Despite a tough outing, Kyler Murray managed to put together 122 passing yards for Minnesota, but it was not enough to change the tide of the game. Defensively, the Buccaneers were relentless, with Warren Sapp leading the charge with four total tackles and two sacks, disrupting the Vikings' offensive rhythm. Vita Vea contributed with an interception that halted any momentum Minnesota hoped to build. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mayfield's second touchdown pass stretched the lead to 17-0, leaving the Vikings in a deep hole they could never climb out of.
