In a strong start to the 2027 season, the Cleveland Browns topped the Cincinnati Bengals with a commanding 42-21 victory. This Week 1 matchup set the tone for both teams, as Cleveland looks to build on last year's success while Cincinnati aims to rebound after a disappointing finish in 2026. Leading the charge for the Browns was quarterback Jordan Love, who threw for an impressive 529 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense. Ian Strong was his favorite target, racking up 217 receiving yards and finding the end zone twice. Despite a lackluster ground game, the Browns' aerial assault proved more than enough to secure the win. Cleveland's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, with Leonard Williams recording three sacks and Tyson Campbell snagging two interceptions. The game turned decisively in the Browns' favor following a crucial pick by Campbell, which shifted momentum and allowed Cleveland to extend their lead. With a balanced offensive attack and a relentless defense, the Browns made a statement in their season opener.
