In a thrilling season opener, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Dallas Cowboys 51-37, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting 2027 campaign. Both teams showcased explosive offensive firepower, but it was Seattle that emerged victorious in this high-scoring affair. Dak Prescott had a standout game for the Cowboys, throwing for 441 yards and five touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to secure a win. The Seahawks' offense was equally impressive, with Trey Benson rushing for 127 yards and DK Metcalf hauling in 195 receiving yards, making crucial plays that kept the momentum on Seattle's side throughout the game. Defensively, Keldric Faulk made his presence felt with a sack, but it was the overall defensive effort from Seattle that proved decisive. The turning point came late in the third quarter when a key turnover by Dallas swung the momentum firmly in favor of the Seahawks, allowing them to pull ahead and maintain their lead through to the final whistle.
