In a tightly contested matchup, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Cleveland Browns 23-17 in Week 14 of the 2026 season, keeping their playoff hopes alive. Both teams entered the game with high stakes, but it was the Falcons who managed to secure the crucial victory on the road. Michael Penix Jr. led the Falcons' offense with a solid performance, throwing for 234 yards, while Bijan Robinson dominated the ground game with 103 rushing yards. Zachariah Branch was a standout in the receiving corps, racking up 111 yards and providing key catches throughout the game. Despite Jordan Love's two touchdown passes for the Browns, it wasn't enough to overcome the Falcons' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Falcons made a crucial impact with Xavier Watts’ interception, halting a potential scoring drive late in the game. The turning point came in the fourth quarter when the Falcons' defense stifled the Browns' momentum, allowing just one touchdown in the second half. Cleveland's Jared Verse contributed with two sacks, but the Falcons' ability to respond defensively proved vital in securing the win.
