In a thrilling Week 3 matchup of the 2027 season, the Minnesota Vikings held off the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 24-19. Both teams entered the game looking to solidify their early-season standings, but it was the Vikings who emerged victorious in a tightly contested battle. Drew Allar led the Steelers offense with 176 passing yards and two touchdown passes, showcasing his potential as a rising star. However, it was Demond Claiborne of the Vikings who stole some of the spotlight with his impressive 83 rushing yards, providing a solid ground game that kept the Steelers' defense on their toes. Germie Bernard also had a standout performance for Pittsburgh, racking up 87 receiving yards. Defensively, the Vikings made crucial plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Dallas Turner was a force to be reckoned with, registering 2.5 sacks that disrupted Allar's rhythm throughout the game. Additionally, Jakobe Thomas's interception proved to be a game-changing moment, stifling a Steelers drive and allowing Minnesota to maintain their lead down the stretch.
