In a thrilling Week 7 showdown, the New England Patriots narrowly defeated the Miami Dolphins with a final score of 42-35. The stakes were high as both teams aimed for a crucial divisional win, but it was the Patriots who showcased their resilience and determination on their home turf. TreVeyon Henderson was the star of the night for New England, racking up an impressive 172 rushing yards, while Romeo Doubs contributed significantly with 101 receiving yards and a touchdown. Julian Sayin of the Dolphins also had a strong performance, throwing for 282 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Patriots' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Patriots made pivotal plays that shifted momentum in their favor. Harold Landry III led the charge with 1.5 sacks, putting pressure on Sayin throughout the game, while Christian Gonzalez's interception proved to be a game-changer, halting a potential Dolphins scoring drive and sealing the victory for New England. Channing Tindall's four tackles helped maintain the defensive effort, ensuring the Patriots held off Miami in a dramatic contest.
