In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Tennessee Titans topped the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 39-25, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Titans showcased their offensive prowess, while the Jaguars struggled to keep pace, falling short in a game that had significant playoff implications. Leading the charge for Tennessee was quarterback Cam Ward, who threw for three touchdowns, effectively orchestrating the Titans' high-scoring attack. On the ground, Tyjae Spears contributed with 61 rushing yards, while Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence put up impressive numbers of his own, passing for 323 yards and keeping his team competitive through the air. Additionally, Brian Thomas Jr. highlighted the Jaguars' receiving corps with 147 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome Tennessee's offensive momentum. Defensively, the Titans managed to limit the Jaguars' scoring opportunities, forcing critical stops at key moments. Travon Walker of Jacksonville stood out with seven total tackles and a sack, but the Titans' ability to execute in the red zone and maintain possession proved to be the game's turning point. Ultimately, Tennessee's balanced offensive performance and timely defensive plays enabled them to secure a vital victory on the road.
