In a tightly contested matchup, the New England Patriots narrowly defeated the Chicago Bears with a final score of 17-10 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams were looking to solidify their standing in a competitive conference. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye led the charge with an impressive 233 passing yards, while TreVeyon Henderson added a crucial 87 rushing yards to keep the Bears' defense on its heels. Wide receiver Kyle Williams was a standout target, racking up 84 receiving yards and providing key completions that helped sustain drives for New England. Caleb Williams managed to connect for a touchdown for the Bears, but it wasn't enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Patriots were dominant, with Channing Tindall leading the way with nine total tackles, helping to stifle the Bears' offensive momentum. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when the Patriots' defense held strong, preventing Chicago from reaching the end zone and sealing the victory.
