In a decisive Week 5 matchup, the Houston Texans topped the Tennessee Titans 28-13, solidifying their dominance in the 2026 season. The stakes were high, as both teams aimed to secure a crucial win that could impact their playoff aspirations. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with an impressive performance, throwing for three touchdowns to guide his team to victory. Meanwhile, Cam Ward of the Titans put up strong numbers with 238 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Texans. David Njoku shone in the receiving game for Tennessee, racking up 107 yards, while Tyjae Spears contributed with a solid 66 rushing yards. Defensively, the Texans were formidable, with Danielle Hunter spearheading the effort. Hunter recorded five sacks, disrupting the Titans' offensive rhythm and playing a pivotal role in the Texans' success. The game's turning point came in the second half when Hunter's relentless pressure led to an interception by Isaiah Bolden, allowing Houston to pull away and seal the victory.
