In a thrilling Week 2 matchup, the Arizona Cardinals narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 38-35, securing a crucial victory early in the 2026 season. Both teams entered the game looking to establish momentum, but it was the Cardinals who emerged victorious in a contest filled with explosive plays and dramatic moments. Jalen Milroe showcased his prowess for the Seahawks, throwing for 285 yards and three touchdowns, while Elijah Arroyo led the receiving corps with an impressive 123 yards. On the ground, Jeremiyah Love was the driving force for the Cardinals, amassing 108 rushing yards, helping to keep the Seahawks' defense on their heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Cardinals made significant contributions, particularly from Will Johnson, who recorded two key interceptions that shifted the momentum in their favor. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Johnson's second pick set up a crucial touchdown drive, allowing the Cardinals to reclaim the lead and ultimately seal the victory. The Seahawks' defensive efforts, including two sacks from Leonard Williams, were not enough to overcome the Cardinals' timely plays and decisive moments.
