In an impressive display to kick off the 2026 season, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Indianapolis Colts with a commanding score of 42-23. The stakes were high as both teams sought to establish momentum early in the year, but it was the Ravens who set the tone for their campaign with a decisive victory on the road. Lamar Jackson was the standout performer for Baltimore, throwing for four touchdowns and showcasing his dynamic playmaking ability. Adam Randall contributed significantly on the ground, rushing for 102 yards, while the Colts' Daniel Jones put up impressive numbers with 293 passing yards, though it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Ravens' explosive offense. Jonathan Taylor also shone for Indianapolis, racking up 128 receiving yards, but the Colts were unable to capitalize on their offensive efforts. Defensively, the Ravens made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Malaki Starks led the team with five tackles, while Nnamdi Madubuike added a sack, putting pressure on Jones throughout the game. The turning point came when Nate Wiggins intercepted a pass, halting a potential Colts drive and allowing Baltimore to extend their lead, ultimately sealing the victory.
