In a decisive Week 17 showdown, the Denver Broncos dominated the New England Patriots, securing a convincing 40-13 victory. This win solidifies the Broncos' momentum as they head into the playoffs, while the Patriots will need to regroup after a disappointing performance at home. Bo Nix showcased his skills as the Broncos' quarterback, throwing for 359 yards and two touchdowns, leading a potent Denver offense. Marvin Mims Jr. was his primary target, racking up 106 receiving yards, while RJ Harvey contributed on the ground with 60 rushing yards. The offensive cohesion was evident as the Broncos consistently found ways to exploit the Patriots' defense. Defensively, the Broncos made their mark with standout performances from Pat Surtain II, who intercepted two passes, creating crucial turnovers. The game turned decisively in the Broncos' favor midway through the second quarter when Surtain's second interception set up a touchdown, extending their lead to an insurmountable margin. Despite strong efforts from the Patriots' Milton Williams, who tallied 2.5 sacks, the Broncos' offensive firepower proved too much to handle.
