In a tightly contested matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Chicago Bears 26-20 in Week 13 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Jaguars secured a crucial victory that keeps their postseason hopes alive while putting a dent in Chicago's aspirations. Trevor Lawrence was the standout performer for Jacksonville, throwing for 211 yards and demonstrating his dual-threat capability with 86 rushing yards. He connected effectively with Brian Thomas Jr., who led the receiving corps with 81 yards, showcasing a strong offensive performance that kept the Bears' defense on its heels. Caleb Williams managed to throw for a touchdown for Chicago, but it wasn't enough to match the Jaguars' offensive firepower. Defensively, Jacksonville made key plays that influenced the outcome, highlighted by Travon Walker's dominant performance, registering 1.5 sacks and providing consistent pressure throughout the game. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Walker's sack led to a crucial turnover on downs, allowing the Jaguars to maintain their lead and ultimately seal the win. Despite Kyler Gordon's impressive eight tackles for the Bears, the defensive effort fell short against a well-rounded Jaguars offense.
