In a closely contested matchup, the Chicago Bears topped the Seattle Seahawks 27-20 in Week 8 of the 2026 season. This victory puts the Bears in a solid position as they continue to push for playoff contention while the Seahawks look to regroup after a tough loss at home. Chicago's Caleb Williams was the standout performer, throwing for 282 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Jahdae Walker also made a significant impact, racking up 126 receiving yards, providing Williams with a reliable target throughout the game. The Bears’ offensive prowess proved too much for the Seahawks to handle. Defensively, the Seahawks struggled to contain Chicago's dynamic attack, despite Devon Witherspoon's impressive nine tackles and an interception that provided a momentary spark for Seattle. The turning point came late in the third quarter when the Bears scored a crucial touchdown to extend their lead, leaving Seattle unable to recover. With key defensive plays falling short, the Seahawks were unable to shift the momentum back in their favor, allowing Chicago to secure the win.
