In a decisive victory, the New York Giants topped the Houston Texans 37-23 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The win is crucial for the Giants as they look to solidify their playoff positioning, while the Texans struggle to find their footing in the competitive league. Jaxson Dart was the star of the night for the Giants, throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers under pressure. Cam Skattebo added a strong ground game with 104 rushing yards, providing balance to the Giants' offensive attack. Meanwhile, Nico Collins led the Texans in receiving with 93 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome New York's potent offense. Defensively, the Giants were led by Deonte Banks, who recorded a game-high 10 total tackles, ensuring that Houston's attack was consistently stifled. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Dart threw his third touchdown pass, pushing the Giants' lead to two touchdowns. Despite a strong effort by Jalen Pitre, who intercepted two passes, the Texans' defense couldn't contain New York's explosive plays, ultimately sealing their fate in this matchup.
