In a thrilling Week 11 matchup, the San Francisco 49ers topped the Minnesota Vikings 47-28, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum as the season heads into its final stretch, the 49ers delivered a commanding performance at home. Brock Purdy was the standout star for San Francisco, throwing for an impressive 413 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to dissect the Viking defense. Adding to his offensive prowess, Purdy also contributed 74 rushing yards, making him a dual-threat throughout the game. Tyreek Hill shined for the Vikings, racking up 162 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the 49ers' explosive offense. Defensively, the Vikings struggled to contain Purdy, while Jessie Bates III led the team with three tackles and an interception, providing a glimmer of hope. However, the turning point came when Purdy connected on a 70-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter, extending the lead and shifting momentum squarely in favor of the 49ers. San Francisco’s ability to capitalize on key opportunities ultimately sealed their victory.
