In a tightly contested Week 8 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Chicago Bears with a final score of 20-11, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams fighting for crucial standings in the league, this victory was vital for Seattle's momentum heading into the second half of the season. Jalen Milroe was the standout performer for the Seahawks, throwing for 242 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense effectively. His top target, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, had a stellar game with 107 receiving yards, making key catches that kept the chains moving. Additionally, De'Von Achane contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 74 rushing yards to complement the passing attack. On the defensive side, the Seahawks' pressure was evident, especially with DeMarcus Lawrence recording a critical sack that thwarted a Bears drive. The turning point came late in the game when Seattle's defense stiffened, forcing a turnover on downs that allowed them to maintain their lead. Despite a strong effort from the Bears, highlighted by Devin Bush's eight tackles and an interception from Kyler Gordon, they could not overcome the Seahawks' balanced attack and defensive resilience.
