The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a convincing 26-9 victory over the New Orleans Saints in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams looking to gain momentum, the Steelers came out strong, demonstrating their offensive prowess and defensive resilience throughout the game. Steelers quarterback Will Howard led the charge with an impressive 273 passing yards, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers and move the chains effectively. While Spencer Rattler managed to find the end zone once for the Saints, it was the Steelers' balanced attack that ultimately made the difference, limiting the Saints’ offensive options and keeping them off the scoreboard. On the defensive side, Pittsburgh's Sean Murphy-Bunting came up big with a key interception, disrupting any hope of a Saints comeback. Although Jonas Sanker recorded eight tackles for New Orleans, the Steelers' defensive unit consistently pressured Rattler and contained Alvin Kamara, who struggled to find his rhythm with just 50 rushing yards. The turning point came in the second half when Murphy-Bunting's interception thwarted a promising Saints drive, allowing Pittsburgh to maintain control and secure the win.
