In a decisive Week 12 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 25-11, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. The victory not only boosts Seattle's confidence but also adds pressure on the 49ers as they look to rebound in the final stretch of the season. Sam Darnold led the Seahawks' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 278 yards, while Zach Charbonnet provided a powerful ground game with 113 rushing yards. The Seahawks also showcased a balanced attack, limiting the 49ers' defensive efforts. On the other side, Brock Purdy managed only one passing touchdown, with Mike Evans leading in receiving yards for San Francisco but unable to convert that into points. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with DeMarcus Lawrence recording two sacks and Nick Emmanwori snagging an interception that changed the momentum of the game. The turning point came in the second quarter when Emmanwori's pick set up a crucial touchdown drive for Seattle, establishing a lead that the 49ers could not overcome. Dre Greenlaw's 11 tackles were commendable, but it was not enough to counter Seattle's dominant performance on both sides of the ball.
