In a pivotal Week 9 matchup, the Cleveland Browns topped the New Orleans Saints with a final score of 34-18, solidifying their playoff push in the 2026 season. The stakes were high as both teams sought momentum heading into the latter half of the season, but it was the Browns who emerged victorious on the road. Offensively, Quinshon Judkins led the Browns with a solid ground game, rushing for 80 yards and contributing to the team's balanced attack. Tyler Shough of the Saints threw for 237 yards, showcasing his ability to move the ball through the air, while Chris Olave was the standout receiver with 101 yards, but it wasn't enough to close the gap. Defensively, the Browns made crucial plays that shifted the momentum of the game, highlighted by Carson Schwesinger's two interceptions, which proved vital in halting the Saints' drives. The turning point came in the second quarter when Cleveland capitalized on one of those turnovers, converting it into a touchdown that put them ahead for good. Despite Leo Chenal's 10 tackles and Kaden Elliss's sack for New Orleans, their efforts fell short against a determined Browns' squad.
