In a crucial Week 6 matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a final score of 24-13, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The victory was vital for the Steelers as they look to establish themselves as a contender in the increasingly competitive AFC. Baker Mayfield led the Buccaneers with an impressive 313 passing yards and one touchdown, finding success through the air despite the loss. On the other side, Jaylen Warren was the standout for Pittsburgh, rushing for 104 yards and providing the ground game that helped secure the win. Meanwhile, Emeka Egbuka delivered a strong performance for Tampa Bay, racking up 133 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Steelers' offensive balance. Defensively, the Buccaneers had some bright spots, including Josiah Trotter, who recorded eight total tackles, and Calijah Kancey, who registered a sack. However, the turning point came in the second half when the Steelers' defense stiffened, limiting Tampa Bay's scoring opportunities and forcing key turnovers that allowed Pittsburgh to maintain control of the game. The Steelers' ability to capitalize on those moments proved decisive in their victory.
