In a high-octane matchup, the New York Jets topped the New England Patriots 46-31 in Week 6 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Jets came into this game looking to maintain momentum after a strong start, while the Patriots aimed to bounce back from recent struggles. Cade Klubnik was the standout star for the Jets, throwing for an impressive 357 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to command the offense. Adonai Mitchell was his top target, racking up 151 receiving yards, while TreVeyon Henderson led the Patriots with 117 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the Jets' aerial assault. Defensively, the Jets turned the tide with a remarkable performance from Minkah Fitzpatrick, who recorded four interceptions, a crucial factor in stifling the Patriots' comeback attempts. Despite Robert Spillane's strong showing with two sacks and six tackles for New England, the Jets' defense made key plays at pivotal moments, including Fitzpatrick's interceptions that shifted momentum and sealed the victory.
