In a thrilling Week 4 matchup, the Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Seattle Seahawks with a final score of 33-21. The win not only boosts the Chargers’ momentum but also positions them favorably in the competitive landscape of the 2026 season. Both teams were looking to solidify their standing, but it was the Chargers who emerged victorious. Justin Herbert led the charge for Los Angeles, throwing for an impressive 318 yards and connecting with his receivers for critical gains. Quinn Johnston was a standout on the receiving end, racking up 153 yards, while Omarion Hampton complemented the passing game with a solid performance on the ground, totaling 104 rushing yards. Sam Darnold contributed for Seattle with two touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to match the Chargers' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Chargers managed to stifle the Seahawks’ rhythm, with key plays that turned the tide in the game. The Seahawks' Ernest Jones IV put forth a valiant effort with 13 total tackles, but it was the Chargers’ ability to contain Seattle’s drives that proved crucial. The turning point came late in the second half when the Chargers' defense forced a turnover, allowing the offense to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory.
