In a crucial Week 18 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars secured a 31-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, solidifying their position as a playoff contender. With both teams vying for postseason glory, the Jaguars' win showcased their resilience and ability to perform under pressure. Caleb Williams led the Colts with a strong passing performance, racking up 294 yards and throwing two touchdown passes, but it was Colby Parkinson's ground game that proved pivotal for Jacksonville, as he rushed for 67 yards. The Jaguars also benefited from balanced offensive contributions, keeping the Colts' defense on their heels throughout the contest. Defensively, Paulson Adebo was a standout for the Jaguars, recording nine total tackles and providing crucial support at key moments. While the Colts managed to apply pressure, with Osa Odighizuwa notching a sack and Reed Blankenship securing an interception, it was the Jaguars' ability to stifle the Colts’ offense in the second half that ultimately turned the tide, allowing them to hold off a late rally and clinch the win.
