In a decisive Week 17 matchup, the New York Giants topped the Dallas Cowboys with a convincing 27-7 victory, securing their playoff position while delivering a blow to their rivals. The Giants showcased their dominance, particularly on offense, as they sought to solidify their standing in the league. Leading the charge for the Giants was quarterback Justin Herbert, who threw for one touchdown and efficiently managed the game. Running back Saquon Barkley contributed with 55 rushing yards, while Tre Tucker emerged as a reliable target, finishing with 56 receiving yards. The Giants' offense demonstrated well-rounded production, making it difficult for the Cowboys to mount any significant response. On the defensive side, the Giants' Budda Baker made a crucial impact, intercepting a pass that helped swing momentum in New York’s favor. Although Tyrel Dodson of the Cowboys recorded two sacks and four total tackles, it was not enough to stifle the Giants' scoring efforts. The turning point came when Baker's interception set up a touchdown drive, solidifying the Giants' control of the game and effectively sealing the Cowboys' fate.
