In an impressive display to kick off the 2027 season, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Baltimore Ravens with a commanding 37-14 victory. The game showcased the Raiders' dominance, as they looked to set the tone early in the season against a formidable opponent. Josh Allen led the Raiders' offense, throwing for three touchdowns and capitalizing on the opportunities presented by the Ravens' defense. Meanwhile, Bo Jackson shone both on the ground and through the air, racking up 88 rushing yards and 78 receiving yards, proving to be a dual threat that the Ravens struggled to contain. Lamar Jackson managed to put up 159 passing yards for Baltimore, but it was clear that the Raiders' offensive firepower was too much to handle. Defensively, the Raiders were relentless, with Jessie Bates III leading the team in tackles and Christian Wilkins making a significant impact with two sacks. Derwin James Jr. added to the Raiders' momentum with two interceptions, creating crucial turnovers that shifted the game's momentum. The turning point came early in the second half when James intercepted a pass, leading to another quick touchdown that put the game out of reach for Baltimore.
