In a commanding performance, the Seattle Seahawks topped the San Juan Desperados 50-29 in Week 5 of the 2027 season. With their playoff hopes hanging in the balance, the Seahawks delivered a decisive victory, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their standing in the league. Kyler Murray shone brightly for Seattle, throwing for 371 yards and an impressive six touchdowns, demonstrating his elite playmaking ability. He connected with Rome Odunze, who racked up 95 receiving yards, helping to stretch the field and keep the Desperados on their heels. On the ground, Issac Brown of San Juan put up a valiant effort with 137 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Seattle's high-flying offense. Defensively, Richard Sherman led the Seahawks with two total tackles, contributing to a unit that managed to contain the Desperados despite their strong offensive showing. The game’s turning point came in the second quarter when Murray threw three consecutive touchdown passes, allowing Seattle to pull away and establish a lead that San Juan could not overcome. The Seahawks' defense, while not dominant, made key stops when it mattered most, ensuring their victory was secure.
