In a commanding performance, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Detroit Lions 34-11 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Seahawks continue to solidify their position in the playoff race, further distancing themselves from the competition in the NFC. Kyler Murray was the star of the show, throwing for 281 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his dynamic ability to lead the offense. Nico Collins also had a standout game, racking up 103 receiving yards, providing Murray with a reliable target throughout the contest. Meanwhile, Chase Brown kept the Lions' ground game alive with 83 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Seahawks were relentless, with Nnamdi Madubuike recording two sacks that disrupted the Lions' rhythm. Talanoa Hufanga's interception added to the pressure, sealing the game in the second half and allowing Seattle to maintain control. The turning point came late in the second quarter when a crucial turnover gave the Seahawks a short field, leading to a touchdown that shifted momentum firmly in their favor.
