In a commanding performance, the Brooklyn Shamrocks topped the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-17 in Week 8 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Shamrocks solidified their position in the standings while dealing a significant blow to the Steelers' postseason hopes. Matthew Stafford led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for 294 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to overcome the offensive firepower of the Shamrocks. Jim Brown contributed a steady ground game with 78 rushing yards, while Christian Watson was the standout receiver, racking up an impressive 200 yards and a touchdown, proving to be a consistent threat throughout the match. Defensively, Micah Parsons made a game-changing impact with 3.5 sacks, disrupting the Steelers' offense and limiting Stafford's effectiveness. The turning point came in the second quarter when Parsons' relentless pressure forced a critical turnover, allowing the Shamrocks to extend their lead and ultimately seal the victory. Ryan Shazier's nine tackles for Pittsburgh showcased his effort, but it wasn't enough to contend with Brooklyn's balanced attack.
