In a thrilling Week 7 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 25-23, keeping their playoff aspirations alive. Both teams fought hard, but the Chiefs managed to hold off the Seahawks in a game that had significant implications for postseason positioning. Kyler Murray was the standout performer for Seattle, throwing for 336 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his arm strength and ability to connect with his receivers under pressure. Rome Odunze emerged as his top target, racking up 135 receiving yards and making crucial catches to keep drives alive. Meanwhile, Marshawn Lynch contributed on the ground with 51 rushing yards, providing a solid yet unspectacular ground game. Defensively, the Chiefs were led by James Pearce Jr., who recorded two sacks, putting consistent pressure on Murray throughout the game. Pat Surtain II added a pivotal interception, which proved to be a turning point as it halted a potential scoring drive for Seattle. The Chiefs' defense, while not dominant, stepped up at critical moments, allowing them to secure the victory and maintain their momentum heading into the latter part of the season.
