In a commanding performance, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Washington Commanders 34-7 in Week 3 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the league. The Seahawks showcased their offensive prowess while the Commanders struggled to find their rhythm, making this matchup a one-sided affair. Leading the charge for Seattle was quarterback Kyler Murray, who threw for 240 yards and a touchdown, effectively orchestrating the Seahawks' offensive strategy. Marshawn Lynch was a force on the ground, racking up 88 rushing yards, while Kayshon Boutte matched that output in receiving yards, establishing himself as a key target. Together, they ensured Seattle maintained a steady offensive flow throughout the game. Defensively, the Seahawks made pivotal plays to stifle Washington's efforts. Quinyon Mitchell's interception highlighted Seattle's ability to capitalize on mistakes, while Aidan Hutchinson of the Commanders, despite his seven tackles and two sacks, couldn't shift the momentum in his team's favor. The turning point came early in the second half when the Seahawks scored on consecutive possessions, leaving the Commanders unable to recover and sealing their fate.
