In a commanding performance, the Atlanta Falcons topped the Green Bay Packers 31-14 in Week 3 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position early in the campaign. The Falcons' balanced attack and strong defensive play proved too much for the Packers, who struggled to keep pace despite a strong individual showing from their quarterback. Leading the charge for Atlanta was Mike Vick, who threw for two touchdowns while showcasing his dual-threat capabilities. Jonathan Taylor contributed significantly on the ground with 61 rushing yards, providing vital support to the passing game. On the other side, Brett Favre amassed 199 passing yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback against the Falcons' efficient offense. Defensively, Atlanta's Damone Clark led the team with three total tackles, but it was the overall pressure applied that turned the tide. The game shifted decisively when Atlanta's defense stifled a Packers drive late in the first half, forcing a turnover that set up a crucial touchdown. Despite Byron Young's impressive 2.5 sacks for Green Bay, the inability to contain Vick ultimately sealed the Falcons' victory.
