In an exciting Week 4 matchup of the 2027 season, the New Orleans Saints topped the New England Patriots with a final score of 38-28, solidifying their position as a formidable force in the league. Both teams fought hard, but the Saints' offensive firepower proved too much for the Patriots to handle, as they sought to regain momentum this season. Jaxson Dart was the standout performer for New Orleans, throwing for four touchdown passes and leading his team to victory. On the receiving end, Xavier Worthy had an explosive game, racking up 159 receiving yards that kept the Patriots on their heels. Meanwhile, Jadarian Price contributed significantly on the ground with 70 rushing yards, helping to balance the Saints' attack and keeping the defense guessing. Defensively, the Saints were impactful, with Caleb Downs making eight total tackles to stifle New England's offensive efforts. The turning point came when Kerby Joseph snagged an interception, halting a potential scoring drive for the Patriots and shifting momentum back to the Saints. This critical play underscored New Orleans' ability to capitalize on opportunities and maintain control in a highly competitive matchup.
