Makai Lemon was a standout receiver, racking up 204 yards and proving to be a reliable target for Love. Ashton Jeanty also contributed significantly on the ground, adding 82 rushing yards to the offensive effort. The Chiefs' defense played a pivotal role in this tightly contested game, with Josh Hines-Allen recording 1.5 sacks to disrupt the Vikings' offensive rhythm. A key turning point came when Marcus Jones intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing the Chiefs to maintain their narrow lead. Devin Bush led the Vikings defensively with seven total tackles, but it wasn't enough to secure the win as Kansas City held off Minnesota's late-game surge.
