In a hard-fought defensive battle, the Jacksonville Jaguars narrowly defeated the New England Patriots with a final score of 9-3 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. The stakes were high as both teams aimed to improve their playoff positioning, but it was the Jaguars who came out on top in a game defined by gritty performances. Lamar Jackson led the Jaguars' offense with a solid showing, throwing for 142 yards, while Jeremiyah Love added a crucial 62 rushing yards to keep the chains moving. Garrett Wilson was the standout receiver, making key catches for 58 yards, but overall, the offense struggled to find the end zone, relying on field goals to secure the victory. Defensively, the Jaguars were a force to be reckoned with, highlighted by Zach Allen's two sacks that disrupted the Patriots' rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Allen's pressure forced a crucial turnover on downs, allowing Jacksonville to maintain their slim lead and ultimately seal the win. Meanwhile, Nate Landman of the Patriots tallied nine tackles, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Jaguars' relentless defensive effort.
