In a tightly contested Week 7 matchup, the Miami Dolphins narrowly defeated the Buffalo Bills with a final score of 19-16. This victory keeps the Dolphins in the playoff conversation as the season approaches its midway point, while the Bills look to regroup after a tough loss. Patrick Mahomes led the Dolphins' offense with a strong performance, throwing for 265 yards and guiding his team to crucial scoring drives. Jonathon Brooks provided a significant boost on the ground, rushing for 97 yards, while Malik Nabers was a reliable target, finishing with 68 receiving yards. Bryce Young managed to throw for a touchdown for the Bills, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win. On the defensive side, the Bills made their presence felt, with Jacob Rodriguez leading the charge with seven total tackles and Derrick Moore registering 1.5 sacks. However, the Dolphins' defense held firm when it mattered most, forcing the Bills to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when Miami's defense stifled a late drive, allowing them to hold off Buffalo's attempts to steal the win.
